Our Story
Rooted began with a simple belief- that the women who hold everyone else together deserve to feel held too.
Life is full right now. Full and fast and beautiful and overwhelming all at once. We are all so busy- kids, family, responsibilities that fill every hour and never stop. The kind of season where you crawl into bed exhausted and wake up already behind. Many of us holding everything together while quietly running on empty.
The friendships and connections that used to fill us up- the showing up for milestones, the being there for the hard days and the celebrations- have become harder and harder to tend to. Not because we love each other less. Simply because 24 hours is not enough time in the day.
Rooted exists for that gap. A way to be included in each other's lives- to show up for milestones and the tender moments and the proud ones- even when showing up in person is not possible. A letter in the mailbox that says I am still here, still see you. You matter to me.
The people who love you are your roots. They don't always announce themselves. They are there beneath the surface- steady, quiet, holding you in place even on the days you cannot feel them. This is what it means to be rooted. Not that nothing shakes you. But that something, someone, is there holding you even when life is pulling you in every direction.
We make handcrafted open when letters for the moments that deserve more than a text. Each one assembled by hand, sealed with wax, and sent through the mail for exactly the moment it was made for. Some letters are for the hard days. Some arrive for the proud ones. All of them exist to remind her that someone is thinking of her.
Pay It Forward is where Rooted begins — one letter, chosen with intention, sent to someone that needs to feel held. Gift subscriptions are coming soon, for the women in your life who deserve a whole season of slow mail. We're taking our time to get it right. We think you'll understand.
Some things are better felt than explained. This is one of them.
Connection grows here.
